Fact - Science - Physics
Gamow uses the adventures of Mr. Tompkins, an ordinary bank teller,
to explain some of the more complicated aspects of physics in simple, vivid
terms. It was originally published as two books; I read the first one as
a child and gained a clearer understanding of relativity, the speed of
light, and the Heisenberg uncertainty principle from it.
