I am recommending this book because it is a beautiful (sad, but beautiful) tale of an overgrown boy, who is slow in learning, that finds a friend in a neighbor, a small statured boy, who is very smart. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down and to this day, as a senior now going into college, it's still one of my most favorite books I have ever read. Read it. You won't regret the twists and turns of this story's ends.
