A unique blend of well-researched history and the embroidery techniques of the Bayeux Tapestry. A very good choice for those whose interest in the tapestry reaches beyond it as a purely historical document and into its actual creation. The author presents an interesting theory concerning the variances in the tapestry as well as a reconstruction of the missing segment.

I checked this book out from the library about a year ago, so my memory may be a bit fuzzy, but I seem to remember that the text was quite small making it a little difficult to read. Otherwise, an excellent book.
